We are a small motel located in Southwestern Vermont... Tavern currently closed, minutes to a nearby cafe as well as other dining choices ... all of our guest rooms face the beautiful Green Mountain National Forest; we are located on Route 7 just 15 minutes North of Manchester and 20 minutes South of Rutland, in the Danby-Mt. Tabor area. SO if you want to be near town BUT not in the center of the traffic and crowds....
then you will like it here!

If you are looking for a place to just relax; if you are looking for a quiet weekend with your special someone; if you want to hike or picnic along the Long Trail (Appalacian Trail) or bicycle along country roads; or maybe you want to shop the Outlet Stores downtown in Manchester, or have access to 5 ski areas (all 30 to 60 minutes drive from here); go caving, or just enjoy the views; take advantage of the music, arts and theater available in the area, search for Antiques or browse a flea market; fish along the rivers or swim in the lake; head off to a country fair, the horse show or snowmobile for hours.... then you will like it here!
